About Pet Sitting

A professional pet sitting service provides quality at-home care for your pets. Your pets remain in the comfort and safety of their own home where they receive loving, personalized care. The first step in hiring a pet sitter is the initial consultation. The initial consultation involves the pet sitter coming to your home to meet you and your pets. During the consultation, the sitter will learn as much as possible about your pets, their routines, and their personalities. We will provide a service contract and an information sheet, which will request all necessary information such as emergency contacts and veterinary information. At this time, we can schedule your pet sitting services. To guarantee the safety of your pets and property, Adette’s Ark Pet Sitting is fully insured and registered with the City of Austin.

About the Owner

Adette Quintana has been a resident of Austin for twenty years. After earning a Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of New Mexico, she began working as a zoo keeper at the Rio Grande Zoo in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was responsible for the care of mammals and exotic birds. In addition to caring for the animals, she also performed in the World Animal Encounters Show. Her background also includes veterinary technician work as well as three years of volunteer work for Wildlife Rescue, Inc. Her love of animals is seen in her professionalism as well as her outstanding care of animals.
